"Houses: we bring together in a small space what in the wild is spread out."― Yann Martel

Property ID: EKJ1909, Tzokeika, Riglia, Messinia Mani

A well-kept stone house on three floors, an easy-to-maintain garden with beautiful sculptures and a BBQ area with both a classic Greek grill and a pizza oven. Parking spaces for at least 3 cars and a garage which is currently used as a hobby room and could easily be converted into a studio with en-suite bathroom.

First floor/Upper floor/Master floor (approx. 24 m2): a bedroom (approx. 12 m2) with access to a terrace (approx. 20 m2), a bathroom (approx. 3 m2) with a built-in shower. Both the bedroom and the bathroom have built-in cupboards and above the bathroom you will find a smart storage space. Romantic views from the bedroom over the sea and the stone houses in the area.

Ground floor/entrance level (approx. 33 m2): kitchen with exit to a large veranda (approx. 20 m2) which is shaded by a wooden roof, a living room with a fireplace and underfloor heating. From the living room there is an exit to a sunny "breakfast balcony" (approx. 10 m2) with a wonderful view of the beautiful stone houses, the olive groves and the sea. The kitchen has room for a larger dining table and was updated in 2020 with new appliances. All the cabinets in the kitchen were made to order: solid wood, deep drawers and smart storage spaces.

Basement floor (approx. 33 m2): 2 smaller bedrooms (approx. 10 m2), a bathroom (approx. 3 m2) with a built-in shower, a toilet, a small hall with space for a (built-in) washing machine. One of the bedrooms has a built-in wardrobe and from both rooms there is an exit to a beautiful veranda with the characteristic and beautiful stone arches.

The houses in Tzokeika are rarely sold, the area is popular (and popular for rentals), not only because of the beautiful buildings and the "Mani concept" but also because of the short distance to the beaches and tavernas of Agios Nikolaos.

Tzokeika, Riglia, Agios Nikolaos, Mani, Peloponnese, Greece

"TZOKEIKA" is an exciting project created by a creative team of architects and engineers with extensive experience in planning and building housing, TZOKAS architects. Feel free to visit their website to know more about their thoughts and philosophy behind this complex of traditional stone houses, where each house has its own unique traditional character. The houses were built in an olive grove with beautiful walking paths that take you to Voulimenea's beach and tavern.

The closest is the beautiful and unspoilt fishing village of Agios Nikolaos. The village used to be called Selinitsa, which means "little moon". According to the story, when Paris and Helena (Eleni in Greek) decided to escape from Sparta, it was precisely the port of Agios Nikolaos that they fled to and from here they sailed on to Troy. Agios Nikolaos has a lot of tavernas and cafes that are open all year round and all are located around the port. In the village you will also find: infirmary, pharmacy, ATM, two supermarkets, patisserie, butcher, bicycle rental and petrol station. Everything you need for the moment.
